Privacy & Personal Data Protection Policy (KVKK)

As the data controller, I, Abdurrahman Badavı, am committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This page explains what data I collect through abdurrahmanbadavi.com, why, how I protect it, and what your rights are.

2. Data I Collect

  • Contact data: your full name, phone / WhatsApp number, email address, market of interest and message, when you submit the contact form.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, time of submission and the page the request was sent from, for security and to prevent automated messages.
  • Usage data: general statistical information about site visits collected through cookies.

3. Why I Use Your Data

  • To respond to your requests and questions and contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email.
  • To provide the real estate and investment consulting services you request.
  • To protect the website and form from automated messages and misuse.
  • To improve the website and understand how it is used in general.

Legal basis: your explicit consent when submitting the form, performance of the service you request, and my legitimate interest in protecting the website, under Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.

4. Who I Share Data With

I do not sell your data or share it with any third party for marketing purposes. Data may be processed, only to the extent necessary, by technical service providers I rely on to run the website:

  • Hostinger: website and email hosting.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: verifying that the form sender is a human and not a bot. More information: Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Google Analytics: general statistics about site visits.

I may also share the necessary data with the real estate company I work with, property developers, lawyers and authorised offices — only when the requested service requires it and with your knowledge.

Some of these providers may process data outside Türkiye; in that case the transfer abroad is carried out under the safeguards set out in Article 9 of KVKK.

5. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are essential for its operation and security, and statistics cookies from Google Analytics. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Data Retention

I keep contact-request data for the duration of our relationship and then for the period required by Turkish law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Data Security

I take technical and administrative measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-step verification for admin accounts, and restricting access to authorised persons only.

8. Your Rights under Article 11 of KVKK

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose.
  • To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom data has been transferred.
  • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • To request deletion or destruction of data.
  • To request that third parties to whom data was transferred be notified of corrections or deletions.
  • To object to any adverse outcome resulting exclusively from automated analysis of your data.
  • To claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
